Your service there earns you a membership here.
As someone who has served in hostile territory, you’ve earned a special place within the largest combat veterans’ organization – the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).
The VFW welcomes all who meet our eligibility criteria. You can join the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States if you are a U.S. citizen with honorable military service who:
- Received a campaign medal for overseas service
- Served 30 consecutive or 60 non-consecutive days in Korea
- Received hostile fire or imminent danger pay
